Women’s Health Week 2025

7pm Thursday 4 September 2025

Women's Health Reimagined:
Wellness, Wisdom & Women's Voices

Women's Health Reimagined: A collaborative panel discussion exploring hormones, (peri)menopause & wellness: Women’s voices, women's choices.

Juno Specialists is bringing together our favourite collaborators and hosting a 'round table' conversation around all things women’s health. With a focus on perimenopause and menopause our panel will give you their unique insights into navigating this period, common experiences and concerns and pathways to finding support. They will discuss hormone and menstrual health, mental wellbeing, integrative approaches to a range of conditions, identity/life stage changes, sexual health and more. You’ll have the opportunity to put questions to the whole panel for discussion.

A not for profit event, we will be raising funds for Share The Dignity in support of their work providing resources for women experiencing homelessness with 100% of funds going towards this worthy cause. We know that the fastest-growing age group experiencing homelessness is older Australians, particularly women over 55, and we want to do more to support them.

Panel participants are: Emily Rubinstein (Hostess with the mostess + GP), Cassie Kenna (GP), Rosie Purdue (Pelvic Health Physio, Hatched House), Amy O'Brien (Acupuncture & Chinese Herbalist), Bec Chivell (Joyful Being, Psychologist), and Rhiannon Hardingham (RH Reproductive Health, Naturopath) Meg Calander (Sexology)

This is both an in person and online event. This event allows you to purchase tickets to attend in person.

Purchase tickets to attend in person at our practice in Richmond and meet our panel members - numbers strictly limited. Or attend live online.

Baby Wearing River Walk

Monthly Friday event dates: 12th September, 10th October, 14th November, 12th December.

Sarah Mahri is a passionate baby wearing consultant and advocate. She has learnt first hand the benefits of baby wearing for parents and babies and loves to share information on baby wearing to help others thrive. Babywearing is the practice of wrapping a baby to your body to give them the closeness that they need to thrive and to give you back your hands to meet your own needs.

In this workshop, Sarah will share her knowledge with you about the benefits of baby wearing and how to safely use carriers, wraps and slings as well as optimal positioning and ergonomics. Then take short a baby wearing river walk along the beautiful Birrarung/Yarra River with Sarah to our local cafe to share coffee, snacks and time with other mums. You will feel confident and empowered to keep meeting your baby's needs through the ancient tool of babywearing.

The workshop includes the opportunity for an individual fit check with your own carrier to ensure you're making the most of all the features your carrier offers.

Bring your baby (if you’re pregnant we can provide you with a baby doll to practice with) and your preferred carrier, wrap or sling.

$35 per person, maximum of 8 attendees
