WOMEN’S HEALTH & PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY
At Juno, women’s health physiotherapist Kelly Jones provides evidence-based pelvic health care in a private, supportive setting in Richmond, Melbourne.
Many pelvic health concerns are common, but they don’t simply have to be accepted or put up with. Kelly helps you understand what is happening in your body and what your options are.
Kelly can help with pelvic floor concerns, bladder leakage and urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related pelvic health, birth preparation, postpartum recovery and rehabilitation, and returning to exercise after pregnancy.
Kelly works alongside our GPs and the wider Juno team, so your physiotherapy fits into your overall care.
Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral to see a physiotherapist. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate.
What to expect
Your first appointment starts with a detailed conversation about your history, symptoms and goals, followed by an assessment. Any internal pelvic floor assessment is only done with your consent and is always optional.
Together, you’ll develop an individualised plan that may include pelvic floor exercises, education and strategies you can use at home.
Kelly consults at Juno on Fridays.
